Fox Host: Should Military Have Special Screenings For Muslim Troops
Added 304 days ago on November 6th, 2009
On Fox and Friends this morning, Raw Story points out, host Brian Kilmeade suggested, in light of the shootings at Fort Hood, that the military start doing special screenings of Muslim servicemen and women."Do you think it's time for the military to have special debriefings of Muslim Army officers, anybody enlisted? Because if I'm gonna be deployed in a foxhole, if I'm gonna be sitting in an outpost, I gotta know the guy next to me is not gonna wanna kill me," Kilmeade said.

Re: Fox Host: Should Military Have Special...
No. This would only make the problem worse and allow for a lot of bad breath in the army. There needs to be mutual understanding for people of all backgrounds, sexual orientations and religions for justice to prevail. I hope that there'll come a day when a Muslim officer doesn't have to explain to his peers how he isn't "one of them." Even better would be if the wwhole thing of him/her beign a Muslim wouldn't matter at all in the way he or she is treated.
