politico.com — Meet Mitt Romney the victim. And that may be a good thing for his campaign.
Following the still-rippling kerfuffle over Hilary Rosen’s comments that Ann Romney “hasn’t worked a day in her life,” Romney is portraying himself as the victim of the liberal media and secular culture, and some social conservatives who opposed him in the GOP primary are rallying around him as a result.

Mark DeMoss, a Romney adviser and the campaign’s ambassador to evangelical groups, compared Rosen’s words about Ann Romney to the criticisms of football star Tim Tebow, who became a sensation in part because of his very public expression of his evangelical faith.
“Any perceived or real attack on Tim Tebow would result in making him, endearing him even more to people of faith,” DeMoss said. “I think it’s just a human reaction. If somebody you like or identify with is attacked, it strengthens your support and love and admiration for the person who was attacked.”
DeMoss continued: “The attack always energizes the person that was attacked or the people who like the person who was attacked.”
Romney as victim appeals to the conservative faithful in a way that the former Massachusetts governor, a New England millionaire, could only hope for in the Republican primary — where he consistently lost the very conservative, tea-party loyalists and the most religious voters. Following his consolidation of the party nod, it’s unclear whether those voters will now rally behind him.
Romney’s rivals had long pursued the victim strategy to great effect.
Rick Santorum campaigned as a kind of professional victim, traveling from state to state with tales of how he risked his career and lost his Senate seat because of his convictions. Newt Gingrich purposefully used the media as a punching bag to draw the ire of populist conservatives.
Both accused Romney and his super PAC of launching negative campaigns against them, a charge Romney typically brushed off by reciting the Harry Truman line, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.”
Now Romney is adopting the same kind of language that signals to the faithful that he is one of them.
On Thursday, Romney framed Obama’s comment that Romney wasn’t “born with a silver spoon” in his mouth as an attack on his father and suggested the president was “attacking” fellow Americans.
“I’m not going to apologize for my dad’s success, but I know the president likes to attack fellow Americans,” Romney told Fox News. “He’s always looking for a scapegoat, particularly those [who] have been successful like my dad, and I’m not going to rise to that.”
And during an interview Tuesday with the conservative Breitbart News website, Romney described himself as the target of liberal interest groups working in concert with President Barack Obama’s campaign.
“There will be an effort,” Romney said, “by the quote, vast left-wing conspiracy, to work together to put out their message and attack me.”
That’s a far cry from Romney’s posture in January, when he told reporters in South Carolina that he had no issue with how he was being treated in the press.
“I don’t have complaints about the media,” he said at an availability on the eve of the South Carolina primary. “The media is doing their job to get their message out. … I respect the fact that you guys are out here in the rain with me, with the governor, and doing the best job you can.

This is a make believe battle between lesbians and normal women.
Wymen v women. Nothing more, nothing less and just one more issue to deflect criticism from high gas prices, joblessness, wasteful spending broken campaign promises and the other IMPORTANT issues surrounding our failed experiment of a President.

If so, LBE, then why would Romney be so dumb to step into these distractions? These distractions are either working against him with women or he's not as savvy a campaigner as the GOP establishment had hoped.

Another example of the two-faced radical obamanation's thinking.

NO ONE is allowed outside of the controled environment they allow. Any exception, no matter how small, must be attacked and destroyed.
