Currently Obama has a substantial advantage against Romney in the race for president

Despite posting only a 3.3% average national lead among likely voters (46.1% to 41.8%) Obama has substatial advantages to Romney in the race for president.
Obama leads 253 to 170 in likely (average+10% or more) and leaning (+5%-10%) electoral votes. He also leads +5 (+49.8 vs -44.8) to -4,8 (+36.6 vs -41.4) when it comes to recent public average favorability ratings. In the core 4 states of Florida, Ohio, Virginia and North Carolina (all of which Romney has to win if the essentialities of the current balance of power hold) he posts superior average leads. It's 4.2% in Ohio, 3.2% in Virginia with latest polls showing 7-8% leads, 0.4% in Florida and 2.4% in orth Carolina. Whiöe the leads are not great (especially in Florida) it seems likely that Obama could take at least one of these states. While it's possible that this doesn't happen, Romney would still need an additional 25 electoral votes to reach 270. Try the map for yourself at www.realclearpolitics.com

115 electoral votes are currently in play, and to win, Romney would have to grab 100 or about 87% of them. Thus he has 15 'spare' EV's ruling out the loss of Ohio (18) or Florida (29). While he could lose North Carolina (15 EV's) or Virginia (13 EV's) losing even either one of them would leave him no margin of error (at most 4 EV's) in any of the remaining 'toss up' states. While things may change and certainly Obama would get less than the 365 EV's he won in '08, it currently seems likely that he won't lose 97 EV's or more to make a Romney win possible. In the light of these multiple figures Romney just doesn't seem like a good-enough alternative.

You guys are so right. Obama will win hands down, no worries. Spread the news to all your friends. Tell everyone the way "forward" is safe and secure. No worries. They can even sleep in on election day and we will still move forward, safe and secure in our dear leaders arms.

Long time between here and November. The elite liberal media is trying their best to prop up the failed policies of Obama and the democRATs, but they have a miserable record to run on and it's going to be extremely difficult for the left wing to try and shift the blame onto the Republicans when they can't even do a simple task like present and pass a budget for fear they will be held to account for their reckless spending.
