Poll: Majority of Voters Say Obama Has Changed Country for the Worse

newsmax.com — More than half of likely voters — 56 percent to be exact — believe President Barack Obama has changed America for the worse during his 3 and a half years in office, according to a new poll from The Hill.

Only 35 percent of voters think Obama has changed the country for the better.

Among independents alone, the numbers are similar, with 56 percent believing Obama’s changes have left the country worse off and 31 percent believing they have left us better off. Those are ominous data for the president, given that independent voters are likely to decide the outcome of the election.

Also worrisome for Obama is the tally among women. Again the numbers are close to the overall total, with 54 percent of females maintaining that Obama has changed things for the worse and 36 percent feeling the opposite. The president is counting on winning the female vote to stay in office.

Young voters were a key component of his winning coalition in 2008, but the survey indicates that they too have grown disillusioned with Obama. Once more, the numbers for voters 18 to 39 mirror those of the overall electorate, with 55 percent saying Obama has changed the country for the worse and 36 percent believing the opposite.

Given all those numbers, the Mitt Romney campaign will likely be pleased to learn that 89 percent of the poll’s respondents believe the choice between Romney and Obama is important for the future of the country, and 77 percent believe it’s very important. Among independents, those figures are 83 percent important and 67 percent very important.

What percent of he Nation claims to be democRAT? Pretty close to the 31% you claim believe that the country is better off under Dingy Harry Reid's Senate and the administration and governance of the Imperial Obama.

Don't forget that the ass is the donkey party logo for a reason. A third of our voting population are democRAT by birth and far too lazy to ever look at the facts on the issues if they are in fact able to read.
