GOP Rivals Argue Who's Most Conservative
Made popular 2376 days ago in
The leading Republican presidential candidates staged their most contentious and personal debate of the long campaign season here Sunday night, clashing sharply over abortion, immigration and their readiness to challenge Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) in a general election.
The debate's opening minutes included a series of personal exchanges that illustrated the growing stakes in the nominating battle and set the tone for the 90-minute encounter. Former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney were quickly put on the defensive, fending off criticism leveled by former senator Fred D. Thompson (Tenn.), who questioned their conservative credentials.
Thompson raked Giuliani for having supported federal funding of abortion, voting for Democrat Mario Cuomo for governor in 1994, supporting gun control and making New York a sanctuary city for immigrants.
"He sides with Hillary Clinton on each of those issues," Thompson said.
Giuliani then jumped on Thompson, citing his record in the Senate opposing GOP-sponsored legislation to limit costly lawsuits. "Fred was the single biggest obstacle to tort reform in the United States Senate," he said. "He stood with Democrats over and over again."

Ron Paul was booed 3 times! No one is fooled by him. Mike Huckabee won the texting. Mike Huckabee won the Fox News Debate, Huckabee won the FRC voting. Mike Huckabee is the man!

eyem4freedom says, "Mike Huckabee won the texting. Mike Huckabee won the Fox News Debate."
If Huckabee won why did Ron Paul get more votes?
Put down your autographed picture of Sean Hannity and be realistic.
If the poll from the FRC counts where Ron Paul took 3rd, than this poll counts as well. I love all you Dr. Paul haters determining which polls count and which ones don't. I see that there is a simple formula.
Congressman Paul wins = Poll does not count (MSM does not cover)
Congressman Paul loses = Scientific poll / Completely legite (all over MSM)
There is not ONE MSM who has mentioned Dr. Paul's win yet. Not ONE. You can't even find the results on Fox News.

It looks like Ron's supporters are out there, but your right it did not sound good when he got booed.

Getting booed is easy. Pile up a lot of Giuliani and other candidate's friends, family, campaign workers et al and sit them in the audience. All they have to do is boo... The real voters ARE out here. We did not boo, we can see clear through the other idiots and who is behind them. I am voting for the only real AMERICAN in that group. DR. RON PAUL! If he doesn't make it, God help us all (oops! that may be offending to some other religious and foreign group out there! I forgot that it is no longer a free speech country.) Get the point?
